Stuart M. Bumpas, J.D., LL.M., received his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, and his LL.M. from The George Washington University Law School. He earned his B.A. from Brown University.
Stuart brings decades of experience serving nonprofit organizations, art collectors, museums, schools, and charitable foundations. His distinguished career includes serving as Assistant to the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, as well as General Counsel for the Dallas Museum of Art, The Hockaday School, and The Dallas Foundation.
He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America® for more than 35 years and continues to be a leader in the fields of tax, employee benefits, and nonprofit law. Stuart also serves on boards and committees across the arts, education, and healthcare communities, reflecting his deep commitment to philanthropy and public service.
